Founded in Izmir in 2012, STO was a mining company, mainly exporting natural stone to North America. In 2016, STO decided directing its investments into agriculture operations and commenced distribution with fertilizer import.

STO became the first company to import, license and distribute the UAN (urea, ammonium and nitrate solution) fertilizer, widely utilized in agriculture in developed countries. In 2019, STO was incorporated into a group company and commenced 360° AGRICULTURE concept with TRUAGRO LIFE, TRUAGRO FRESH, TRUAGRO LIVE and PHENIX AGRO AQUA brands. In order to harmonize agricultural operations and fund of knowledge of both countries, the Group established an agriculture company in Ukraine.

The Group founded TRUPLAST, a plastic injection company to produce packaging products to be used in its own agricultural operations, that utilizes mainly recycled plastics. In addition, the Group incorporated NODOR, a company conducting air purification and waste management activities.
